Some of Tony Robbins’ Most Inspiring Quotes

It’s been a tough year, and like many of us, you may find yourself a little low on inspiration these days. But don’t worry, the team here at Vibant dug around to find you some of Tony Robbins’ most inspiring words. We hope they help lift up your mood and your day, and of course, help you find some inspiration!

Success is doing what you want to do, when you want, where you want, with whom you want, as much as you want.”

“Only those who have learned the power of sincere and selfless contribution experience life’s deepest joy: true fulfillment.”

"If you want lasting change, you've got to give up this idea of 'trying something.' You've got to decide you're going to commit-to-mastery. Most people dabble. They say, 'I'd like to change my body,' or 'I'd like to make my relationship better.' These people don't have enough detail to follow-through.”

Success in life is the result of good judgment. Good judgment is usually the result of experience. Experience is usually the result of bad judgment.

“You see, in life, lots of people know what to do, but few people actually do what they know. Knowing is not enough! You must take action.”

“I challenge you to make your life a masterpiece. I challenge you to join the ranks of those people who live what they teach, who walk their talk.”

Self Care, And Why It’s Important

Feeling the pandemic blues lately? You’re not alone. 2020 has proven to be a challenging year for everyone, and it looks as though there may be more challenges ahead before the pandemic is over. With that in mind, The team here at Vibant thought we’d remind you that now, perhaps more than ever, self care is of utmost importance.

So, what is self care? Simply put, self care is a deliberate, self guided practice, one in which you engage in activities and behaviors that take care of you. They could be as simple as ensuring you’re getting enough time to sleep, taking some time to do a leisurely activity like reading or taking a walk, or as complex as making yourself your favorite meal or anything else that makes you feel happy. There are no strict requirements, rules, regulations, or the like, so long as whatever you do feels like you’re taking care of yourself.

Why is self care important? We’re facing difficult times, and while it’s easy enough to ensure that our physical needs are being taken care of, our psychological and spiritual needs are often neglected in such times. With so much stigma still attached to issues around mental health, this can make such needs difficult to talk about or even acknowledge. Any act of self care, no matter how small, is a step towards acknowledging and addressing those issues, and ultimately feeling better.

The Importance of Learning How to be Alone

Being alone is not something that comes naturally to us. Right from the start we’re next to our parents or guardians on a nearly constant basis, only to be thrown into schools with continuous exposure to our peers and professors. When school ends it’s usually time to work, often again, you guessed it, surrounded by our peers. Our working lives tend to lead us into retirement age, and along the way many of us get married and have children, with barely so much as a few moments to ourselves in the process. It’s no wonder, then, that many of us simply don’t know how to be alone.

There is a distinction to be made here, as there’s a considerable difference between being alone, and being lonely, although often times they’re considered one and the same. Loneliness afflicts many, and while it can certainly stem from being alone, another common manifestation of loneliness is the inability to connect to those around us, leading to such expressions as “alone in a crowd.” Being alone doesn’t necessarily have to be a lonely experience. Being comfortable while alone is an indication of being comfortable with and knowing yourself, and knowing yourself will serve as the basis for every single relationship in your life. Lao Tzu put it best: “He who knows others is wise; he who knows himself is enlightened.”

Sign Up For Something New
